Details Required for Aadhaar Card Appointment

• Full Name (as per birth certificate or any official document)
• Date of Birth
• Gender
• Address (permanent or current residence)
• Citizenship Status: Indian

2. Documents Required:

For New Aadhaar (Including children below 18 years):

• Proof of Identity (POI):
• Examples: Birth Certificate, Passport, PAN Card, Voter ID, Driving License, School ID (for minors)
• Proof of Address (POA):
• Examples: Utility Bill, Bank Statement, Passport, Ration Card, Voter ID
• Proof of Date of Birth (DOB):
• Birth Certificate or any other government-issued document
• Parent’s Aadhaar Card:
• For children below 18 years, either parent’s Aadhaar card must be presented at the time of registration.

3. Biometric Details:

• Photograph
• Fingerprints
• Iris scan

4. Other Details:

• Mobile number (optional but recommended for OTP and updates)
• Email ID (optional)

Important Notes:

• For children below 5 years, biometric data such as fingerprints and iris scans are not required.

• The applicant or guardian must be physically present at the enrollment center.
• 
  
• During the enrollment process, you will receive an acknowledgment slip containing your enrollment number.

How to Update Your Address in Aadhaar

1. Existing Aadhaar Card

• Aadhaar Card (Original) – To establish identity of the applicant.

2. Proof of Address (PoA)

Must be in the same person’s name.

Any one of the following is acceptable:

• Passport

• Bank Statement / Passbook (≤ 3 months old)

• Post Office Account Statement / Passbook

• Ration Card

• Voter ID (EPIC)

• Driving Licence

• Electricity Bill (≤ 3 months old)

• Water Bill (≤ 3 months old)

• Landline / Telephone Bill (≤ 3 months old)

• Gas Connection Bill (≤ 3 months old)

• Property Tax Receipt (≤ 1 year old)

• Insurance Policy

• Registered Rent Agreement
